Bulk Purchases are orders for commercial purposes. The minimum quantity of a commercial size order we accept is at least 25 pieces per style. We have no minimum order per size. However, in making up the total lot in an order, airline companies demand at least 500 kilos to induce them to give reduced cargo rates which means 250 to 300 pieces in terms of leather jackets of standard bomber type. We subsidize the freight costs of the first sample orders which may be smaller than this quantity. We do not send samples free of charge.

The following terms of trade apply for Bulk Purchases:

Payment: by irrevocable confirmed letter of credit in our favor through the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Meskel Square Branch, Fax: 00251 1 51 22 45 Addis Ababa, payable at sight upon presentation of the shipping documents.

Packing and Shipping: our usual method of packing is each item wrapped in cellophane paper and then about twenty put in a corrugated cardboard box which will be strapped securely. Our preferred shipment is by air. However, for bigger quantities than 2,500 pieces, shipments by sea in containers are possible.

Delivery Period: we can deliver up to 1000 jackets per month with the first delivery commencing within three months from the date we receive the letter of credit appropriately. The first delay is because, we may have to order the type of leather selected and other accessories specified in the order after the order has been confirmed to us.

Quality Control: we guarantee the quality of the products we offer are as per the samples we agree upon. Most of the internationally known independent surveyors like SGS and Lloyds have their representative offices here in Ethiopia who can be commissioned to do inspection prior to shipment. However, if buyers wish to make the inspection themselves, they can do so and we are willing to negotiate sharing their costs of coming to our company for quality inspection for their first order.
